Monday/Tuesday Homework (due on Wednesday/Thursday): read the introduction to chapter six, “Identity and Culture”—pp. 367-368. Then read Nathaniel Hawthorne’s short story, “Young Goodman Brown,” pp. 452-461. In writing, answer the “Exploring the Text” questions on page 461.
