Losen World Literature 2010-2011

Homework for Monday/Tuesday night: Study for unit test. Remember, you do not have to know every single piece of literature read in your textbook. I may include portions of these, however, and ask you to identify things like alliteration, enjambment, assonance, etc.

Homework for Wednesday/Thursday night:
Complete the review unit. That will be due on Friday. For review units, skip "Vocabulary for Comprehension" and "Grammar in Context." We will always skip those. Make sure that you do everything else, including "Building with Classical Roots," because I include those on my tests.

Friday:

Homework: study for the test.

Monday/Tuesday:

Make sure that you bring your Literature & Language books to class, along with your vocabulary books on Wednesday/Thursday. For homework, read part of chapter three of Literature & Language (pp.59-top of p. 72, stopping just before the activity. Do not worry about any activities).

Wednesday/Thursday:
Vocabulary will be due on Friday.

Friday: Finish Chapter Three in Literature and Language. Study for a unit test next Wednesday/Thursday. Material will cover chapters 1-3 in Literature & Language and notes taken/given from "Agamemnon."

Just read the chapter. Do not worry about the exercises. The same will be true for chapter two, due on Monday/Tuesday.

Monday/Tuesday: Read chapter one from your Literature & Composition texts. Bring both Literature & Composition and your vocabulary books to class on Wednesday/Thursday.

Wednesday/Thursday:  Do vocabulary exercises in Chapter Two of your vocabulary books.

Friday: Read chapter two from Literature & Composition

You will only  have one assignment this week, and it will be due on Thursday/Friday.  Complete the exercises in your vocabulary books--Chapter one. Leave out "Vocabulary in Context."

For the weekend, rest, relax, and have some fun!
